Key Information: company’s perspectives

company’s perspectives
How can I ensure that my company’s perspectives are heard and considered in the development of Indian requirements and policies that could affect my business?

Non-Indian stakeholders may ensure that your perspectives are heard and considered in a number of ways, depending on the type of requirement or policy.

An excellent way to participate in the development of new or proposed Indian technical regulations (federal- and state-level) is to submit comments for India through your own country’s World Trade Organization (WTO) Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT) Enquiry Point. Working through the WTO/TBT Enquiry point network will ensure that comments are directed to the appropriate organization in the most efficient manner possible. Comments should focus on technical concerns with the technical regulation.

Submit comments on draft Indian standards and proposed amendments.

In order to voice your perspective in the development of Indian Standards, comments should be directed to BIS.

In addition, ANSI, CII, and BIS are working together to facilitate the process of submitting comments on draft requirements and to help companies voice their perspectives.
