On September 11, 2008 the American National Standards Institute, in coordination with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), organized a workshop co-sponsored by the U.S. Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration and the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
